Fresno State student Russel Statham was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger last Friday, November 14, for a two year term to the California State University Board of Trustees.

Statham, 21, is preceded by Fresno State student Jennifer Reimer, to make an unprecedented two consecutive student representatives from Fresno. He is a senior majoring in Business Administration and former Vice President of Finance for Associated Students, Inc.

Current ASI President, Graham Wahlberg said, “It’s great to see how the leadership experience a student receives from being involved on campus can really have a positive impact on their future.”

Russel will be welcomed at his first Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday November 18, at the Chancellor’s office in Long Beach, CA.
