With all the crazy budget stuff going on, there is bound to be some confusion regarding financial aid. If you want to get the details about financial aid disbursement, Cal Grants and the fee increase, check out the info below:
§ Disbursement: The start of the fall semester is just around the corner and some of you might be freaking out about not having received your financial aid yet. Not to worry! The first financial aid disbursement process is schedules to begin on Friday, August 14th. Make sure you check your Account Summary on your Student Center portal to make sure that your money is being disbursed. Due to the thigh volume, it will take several days before your check is actually in the main. There will be future disbursements beginning on August 26.
§ Cal Grants: As you’ve probably heard, the Cal Grant funds are not yet available for disbursement. Additional info will be sent to all Cal Grant recipients - so make sure you stay on top of checking your Fresno State E-mail.
§ Fee Increase: Due to the increase in fees, there will be a revision of the cost of attendance for all financial aid students and financial aid awards for students receiving a State University Grant or Cal Grant Fee award the week of August 17th. Constantly be checking your Student Center and Fresno State E-mail for more updates.
