Fresno State swimming and diving finishes their home schedule against rival San Jose State on Feb. 6 at Clovis North. So this is your last chance to see Heidi Gjoen, Dani Yoho and Stacey Luke continue to improve their lightning-fast times in Fresno this season.

The high-flying and sharp-shooting Bulldog men’s basketball team takes to the road for three games on the Bulldog Sports Network.  Make sure to watch Fresno State’s nighttime battles with Idaho (Jan. 28), Boise State (Jan. 30) and Hawai’i (Feb. 6) on the Bulldog Sports Network (KAIL) and www.espn360.com.  Also, the women’s basketball team’s game at Hawai’i on the road on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Pacific. The WAC-leading Fresno State women’s basketball team will host Boise State before a national audience on ESPNU on Wednesday night at 8 p.m.  Come out and support your ‘Dogs as they work for their third straight WAC championship!

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at California State University, Fresno has held textbook affordability as a top priority for students and is proud to announce that Fresno State’s Kennel Bookstore has now made affordable textbooks a reality.

Kennel Bookstore is now partnering with Chegg.com, the number 1 textbook rental company, to offer Fresno State students the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars on textbooks. This partnership between a college bookstore and a textbook rental company is the first of its kind in the nation.  With over 1,800 titles to choose from, Fresno State’s Kennel Bookstore has made eighty percent of books available for rent.

Get your voice heard! Run for student government! ASI Election petitions are now available for pick up in the University Student Union room 306.  Petition deadline is Monday, February 22^nd.

 Document request notices will be sent beginning around the middle of the spring semester for 2010-11 applicants.  Make sure you check your Fresno State email regularly and respond to all requests.  Early completion will help insure money will be available to you when the fall 2010 semester begins.

 It’s a new semester and a new year.  Time to begin the financial aid application process for the fall 2010 & spring 2011 semesters.  Complete your FAFSA (renewal) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov now.  The priority filing deadline is March 2!

Disbursement of financial aid funds for spring 2010 began the week of January 11.  Check your Student Center to see if funds were disbursed to your account and, if not, why not.

Last day to ADD without permission is Wednesday, February 3.   Last day to ADD with permission is Thursday, February 18.

Last day to DROP a class without having to use a drop form and obtain any approvals is Thursday, February 18.

Verify your class schedule and take care of appropriate add/drops before the deadlines!

Registration/Tuition fee payment deadline for students who participate in Late Registration (January 15 - February 3) is Wednesday, February 3.  Students who do not pay by this deadline will be in jeopardy of having their classes cancelled and/or will have a hold placed on their registration and no further add activity will be allowed. 

Registration/Tuition fee payment deadline for students who participate in Registration by Permission (February 4 - February 18) is Thursday, February 18.  Students who do not pay by the deadline will be cancelled for non-payment of fees.
