Watch for the WAG Pack during the first several weeks of the semester!

So what is the WAG Pack? A team of student leaders whose goal is to welcome and offer guidance to all students as they begin the new semester.  These upperclassmen have volunteered their time to share their love of Fresno State and welcome YOU to campus. WAG Pack members are some of the first people you will meet, and you will continue to see these leaders throughout the first part of the semester.  Not sure about what to do on or around campus? Check with the WAG Pack. They know about all of the great events that are being hosted just for you during “Welcome”. They can also answer any questions you may have about classes, your major, where to eat, or how to get to the library. Look for them hosting information tents throughout campus during the first week of school. We are sure if you have not looked for them yet, they will find you!

The WAG Pack is there to offer advice, valuable information, freebies, and directions to resources that can help you succeed as a student!

Student Email Moving to Gmail - Conversion of remaining accounts begins May 3

Since we began asking students to create their new Fresno State Gmail accounts this past January, over 15,000 Fresno State students have completed that process. Students were asked to create their new accounts no later than April 30 and informed that accounts would be created automatically after that date for any student who had not completed this process.  If you have already created your new Fresno State Gmail Account, the remainder of this message does not pertain to you.  Thank you!

Beginning Monday, May 3, ITS staff will begin automatically creating Fresno State Gmail accounts for students who have not created a Fresno State Gmail account for themselves. Once a student’s account is created, they will be directed to their new Fresno State Gmail account when they log in to web-based email. The process of creating these accounts will take several days. During this time, students who access web-based email will be automatically directed to their old, csufresno.edu, account if their new, mail.fresnostate.edu, account has not yet been created.

Students who would like to create their new account before this process begins on May 3, may browse to http://googleapps.fresnostate.edu/ to convert their csufresno.edu account to a Google Apps at Fresno State (mail.fresnostate.edu) account and begin transferring e-mail from their old account.

Students seeking help with the transition may access web-based help at https://help.csufresno.edu/students/googleapps/ or by calling the campus Help Desk at 559.278.7000.

PLEASE NOTE: The email messages in the old csufresno.edu accounts will NOT be migrated by ITS.  The owner of each account must take action to move these messages to their Google Apps account by following the directions located at https://help.csufresno.edu/students/googleapps/mail/migration.php

New e-mail sent to students’ old csufresno.edu address will be automatically forwarded to their new mail.fresnostate.edu account until June 30, giving them time to alert their contacts that their university e-mail address has changed.  Please tell people who send email to your student email address that your new address is userid@mail.fresnostate.edu and that mail to userid@csufresno.edu or userid@cvip.net will not be forwarded after June 30.
